For the last month or so I've been a sucker for Storycorps interviews. Storycorps is a public history project in the States where people can tell and share their stories. Coincidentally these stories are generally touching and wonderful and I tear up in the computer lab and then (usually) feel a little bit better about my current academic situation and write another line or so.
This one is probably the most romantic thing I've ever heard.
This one makes me want to be a wise old man.
This one makes me sick in a sad way.
This one makes me want to be an ornery old woman.
